Level 35 Camwhore

AAA++++!!! WOULD BUY AGAIN!!!

This guide is a first step to answering a basic question: which forums should I run for lemon scoops? I’ll just go down the list of forums and give you the rundown of what I think: constructive criticism is welcome.

This list for now bumumes one of the three main clbumes at level 10, but no DML. I will address the odds of getting three lemon scoops, two are generally a consolation prize available by mousing with the ****tiest builds imaginable. Do note that trolls have it harder than the other clbumes: I’m not going to go in-depth about this since I feel you should get DML asap if you want to go for speed anyway.

Note that the info here is highly subject to change over time: I’m posting this on 08/13/08, so take that into account should you use it. I don’t expect to update this much myself, as I’m not really interested in making this some sort of personal project. Ideally, it should find its way to the wiki and get updated there.

EPISODE ONE:

Denture Chat (12s)

If you know how to use the numkeys (get used to using those, I will not mention this again), 3 lemons should be ****-easy for even Re-Res unless you get rather nasty lag.

Dr. Jojo’s Plastic Surgery Stronghold (30s)

****, ****, easy. A safer option then Denture Chat even. I bumume 30 is some sort of typo?

Rice, Rice, Baby (36s), Fitness fabulous personry (29s), Konservative Kristian Koalition (32s)

See Jojo’s.

That’s a Lot of Feces! (39s)

Easy, though less ridiculously so. If you get a high thread count, you’ll really want to get a move on. Up til now I never mentioned builds, but from here on I bumume you put significant points into offense to speed things up. Try to press the correct key for your next action during the current one: as this forum really doesn’t hit you very hard you should be able to do that all the way. It’s a good speedrunning habit anyway.

South Carolina Marine Fisheries Forum (32s), R.P.Genius (54s)

High thread counts and lag could be in your way here. You’re planning your moves ahead of time right? Because if you are, you shouldn’t have any trouble.

Headbanger’s Hellhole…of Death (45s)

This forum is unique in that it has some threads that have way more pwnage then others. Use Ophelia on the 200+ threads, other threads should go down with your strongest clbum attack, or attacks if you’ve upped your offense enough. Not hard.

Woe is Us (42s)

Up your offense, take the previously mentioned tips to heart and you shouldn’t have any trouble.

The Furry Farm (93s)

Not a very demanding time, you could mouse this one.

Coral Springs Nuclear Generating Station (151s)

Very forgiving on a low thread count, yet quite hard on max threads. Recommended to have at least 7 levels of offense, this should leave you enough points for your attacks and other stats. 8 levels for the hardcore. I don’t consider this very mouse-friendly.

ForumBuildr v 2.0 Beta

I’ll be a bit shorter here: Do read the Episode 1 section for some general tips. Note that these forums are generally harder to scoop at than the previously mentioned ones.

Anarchist’s Playbook, Cellmates

No scoops available.

Church of Saiyantology (28s)

Harder than any of the episode one forums, only few have managed to get 3 scoops here without a DML. You’ll have to put all upgrade points into offense, attacks, and… hope. Even then, it is not possible to do at any other thread count than the minimum of 10.

DeviousArtists (18s)

Like the above, only more so.

Dolphin Love (20s), Fanfiction Freaks (10s)

Plan your turns, don’t stop to think and unless you get hit by lag a lot you should be able to do it. All threads go down in one hit if you play it right.

Fathers Against Pornography (50s)

High offense and being comfortable with the numkeys should make this moderately easy.

Faux News (1163s)

This takes low threads, a good build (you’ll need significant defense to get some turns in), concentration for almost 20 minutes, and most of all the guts to go all out speed on the toughest forum available. Not really recommended, just focus on not dieing unless you’re really hardcore. Very doable, though.

Gamefabulous personS (84s)

Concentration, knowing your stuff, high offense makes this hard, but doable even on max (10) threads; minimum threads (8) is easy for the seasoned speedrunner.

Girls Advocating Sexual Purity (162s)

Most of this draft is from personal experience, which is a bit lacking for me on this one, sorry. You’ll want a solid speed build for this: don’t completely ignore defense and ego as you’ll get hit quite a bit here. Without a speed-oriented build this is quite hard to do.

God Hates Facts (82s)

Forum is virtually identical to Gamefabulous personS, with a slightly more demanding time.

Great Firewall of China (429s)

While it is considerably “easier” than Faux News, most notes on that one apply here. Completely impossible on high thread counts, though.

Home of Male Objectors (27s)

A low thread count (14 is minimum), planning your actions and a server that is moderately kind makes this one-hitter doable, but hard. Real-life luck makes quite the difference here.

Homicide Girls (38s)

Speedbuild and 10 threads makes this moderately easy. At 12 threads you’ll need god at your side.

HowStuffBreaks (31s)

Very hard. Only few have done it EVER. Requires better hardware and/or connection than mine, I think.

Internet Movie DoucheBags (41s)

A solid offensively focused build and good speedrunning habits make this possible, but hard at 7 threads. Again making the disclaimer that this is a relatively new forum that I haven’t run much yet.

Mad Scientists

No scoops available.

MemeBusters (126s)

Quite hard, optimum build is also not immediately obvious: but you’re not getting 3 lemons on more than 10 threads, that’s pretty much fact.

Obscure Phobia Support Boards

No scoops available.

Paranoid Panorama (150s)

Hard, not really doable without a solid build.

Plagiaristic Intentions

No scoops available.

PrayPal (155s)

I’m surprisingly inexperienced with this as this forum is synonymous with grinding for me: looking through some of the leaderboard pages, I find my 20 thread runs on a grind build to take a little over 200s and extrapolating from that it should be easy to do with low thread counts on a speed build. 15-16, maybe 17 threads even.

RAtM: Rage Against the Moderators (19s)

Very hard. Solid build, low thread count and the blessing of Beelzebub are requirements to join Arktor who is currently the only non-DML troll to get it.

Second Wife (177s)

Tough forum, don’t speed it if you’re not comfortable in beating it. If you do, you’ll want a solid build that does not neglect defense and you should be okay.

Something Lawful (22s)

One-hitter, don’t stop to think and you’ll have some wiggle room to compensate for lag, a mistake or two or a ****ty build. This should be easy as you become more comfortable with the basics.

Suburban Gangsta Paradise (22s)

Extremely hard. May require blood sacrifice. Only one non-DML player managed it.

Teen Mommies

No scoops available.

Terra Online (16s)

Close to impossible, best times are more than a second too slow.

The Urbane Dictionary (140s)

Very doable if you know your stuff: a bit challenging if you take it on with 11 threads.

Wiccapedia (62s)

Ranges from easy to very challenging depending on thread count (12-16)

Youboob (23s)

You’ll need 8 threads to do it, this is more important than your build in this case. Hope you don’t get hit by lag, concentrate, and you should get 3 lemons. Little or no room for error on this one.

Zombie Armageddon (45s)

8 threads and a speedbuild make this easy, quite challenging on 10 threads, though.

Anyway, that’s it for now. See if this works for you, and looking forward to some feedback. Have a good time pwning!

You’re welcome! I don’t have too much experience speeding with Re-Res (although I am the fastest on GFoCLog in to see images!)and I didn’t want to make the first post any longer than it already is, but feel free to share your experience with that.

yea well it is real difficult and im not the best person at trying speed with any clbum

so i mostly go for a mix of lemon and solo vanilla, pick a few of the low forumbuildr forums where there is less activity, and then pwn denture chat as the fourth forum for 8 vanilla and 3 lemon if im lucky, and spend the rest of visits on there unless someone attacks one of the three backup forums (which is incredibly annoying and seems to happen to me far too often Log in to see images!

I really do talk ****!

This is a great write up! Log in to see images!

The only thing I’d add is that unless you need them for a pistachio loop, it’s pretty silly to go for speed on Faux News (the only non DLM troll I can see that pulled it off was Fallen Angel – kudos there), GFoC (a few have done it), and Second Wife. All could well be doable by non-DML trolls, but with the added expense, why do it if you don’t have to!

The other thing I’d mention, those forums that don’t deliver max lemon (and even those with no lemon) make great “anchor” forums for solo vanilla. People avoid them because they don’t deliver scoops, so they tend to be less likely to fall to someone else. The sacrifice of 1 or 2 lemons for each of those initial 3 anchor forums can often guarantee that you will get solo vanilla for every additional visit, and that is a scoop trade off that is worth it, imo.

(I know that tip isn’t actually related to the lemon speed, but useful for those deciding to try for scoops.)

Sorry, missed that. You have a ton of speed runs on bunches of characters on pretty much every forum available, that’s why I think it was awesome of you to write this up. It’s pretty clear you know what you’re talking about! Log in to see images!

SG, you said you grind praypal and you weren’t experienced at speed running it. How does your grind build differ from a run build?

It’s not the build it’s the thread count. 15 – 17 threads is for speeding. 20 threads is for grinding.

For speedbuilds, stats like Frugality, Upkeep and Luck are completely useless. This goes in a lesser extent for Ego and Defense. It’s usually based on maxing offense, getting attacking abilities and making the best of the remaining upgrade points.

A grind build will be focused on pwning one forum with a minimum amount of consumables over and over again and will be very specific for that forum, usually PrayPal but in some cases Feces, or even Faux. To increase deliveries, any grind build will also include as many luck upgrades as possible. Without maximum damage output, you will be slow though.

Since you can reset your stats once every four days for free, you should feel free to experiment with different builds. An option to consider, for instance, is a semi-speed build that does not use all 8 offense upgrades, but just 7 or maybe 6. Such a build would lose you a couple of Lemon Sherbet scoops in a domination round (not even too many, really), but could build up your flezz a bit quicker for gambling or taking on the Great Firewall of China for the E-Peen or whatever reason you have. Up ego to save on consumables a bit, luck to increase deliveries, etc.

That post? Thanks for the compliment, but I don’t see where it would fit in the wiki. The guide wouldn’t look bad in the wiki though I think (as a starting point), if someone cares to put it in there that’s cool.
