Are scripted (speed)runs traceable? | |||||||

As some of you may know I’m looking for some competition on speedruns as my new DML troll is really raping pretty much every speedrun leaderboard he touches. To that effect I was looking to have a little contest, but I’m not giving BP for cheating. So anyway, see topic? |

Unfortunately, there is no perfect test for a scripted speedrun.
Having said that, I don’t think it’s very easy to create such a script without leaving a trail of bad requests that we could look up in your history. |

So you could detect someone creating the script, but not using it.
Calculating some minimum times for speedruns/individual threads/attacks based on optimal conditions, and ensuring responses to not fall under these timings, would be one way to detect a script. |
