blackjack-o-maticinteresting. does it produce that same error consistently? (view post) |
12/14/2008 | |
blackjack-o-maticthat could be the cause. I have only tested using 3, though in theory it shouldn’t matter what version you use.
the messages woud appear in the error console (tools -> error console)
if you could, any ff2 error output would be useful, and I might be able to use it to add compatibility. (view post) |

it just doesn’t do ANYTHING? and you have greasemonkey setup right and everything? Do you have chat speed set to max? Right now it only works properly on speed reader, though I plan to fix that soon. If it still fails to do anything, enable the debug flag (by editing ithe script), and check your console to see if it’s outputting anything. (view post) |

blackjack-o-maticbump. the addition of the “same bet” option broke the script as the option text was changed. I just updated the script with the new trigger text, and it works again. That is all. (view post) |

Regarding the new E-peen length systemscullyangel Posted:
Actually, that’s a pretty good idea. Maybe some peens should come with flezz too, especially those. Or some special currency for buying special items. or, or, [okay, ET can stab me now]
In fact, now that I think of it, you should get cred for getting peens. Not that much, depending, but still some. Might be an interesing way to allow players to pbum the current level cap too. (view post) |

Regarding the new E-peen length systemAfter some thought, I have realized the chage isn’t that bad. It’s just scaled dfferently.
I do, however, have one complaint. At my new, dimished levels, there are now more people with the exact same e-peen length. I’m sure internally it’s calcualted in a complex enough way that we can do better than that. thus, I DEMAND MORE DECIMALS. I want to be able to see four places of smallness. That way it woud be much easier to tell who i’m better than. Log in to see images! (view post) |

Possible. It may alter delay times enough that the sync problem gets worse. I think it performd worse today when I tried it, so that would confirm that as the source. Anyway, once I change the sync to wait for options instead of message to appear, the problem should be fixed. I’ll also change it to use the new option.
Hopefully the next version should also include some user settings for delay and/or delay randomness.
I am also planning on adding some type of data readout. Will probably be at first that it will print # of wins, losses, games, net flezz, etc. once it it done playing. Hopefully that will be replaced with a flaoting stats readout window eventually, but that’ll be more work. (view post) |

DVMA Delay Variation Multicast Algorithm
this maybe? or something to indicate the use for randomness for timing?
Anyway, it’s a planned future feature. Basic implementation will probably happen after I get play (nearly) flawless and not speed-dependent. (view post) |

yeah, and i know why that works. that’s not an ideal fix though. it will still not always work. the best solution is to actually sync, instead just of setting the timeouts higher so that the chances of losing sync are lower. but i guess that’s a tolerable fix for now, if you want to mess with it
I also need to improve the message syncing so it works right at any chay speed. eventually the times should be inconsequential, so that’s what i’m aiming for right now. If anybody has any ideas on how to detect that GambleBot has stopped talking, that’d be really useful… Log in to see images! (view post) |

blackjack-o-matichm. well make sure your chat speed is at max, that may help. right now i need to figure out how to properly fix those bad indexes. I am, however, pretty sure that fixing that will also fix the very special playing. (it’s playing very special because it didn’t read all your cards)
Interestngly, the script runs flawlessly on a fast computer. (dual-core Xeon in this case)
anyways, i’ll try to fix that by tomarrow. Hopefully once that is done i can start fleshing out the features. (view post) |

blackjack-o-maticwell, yeah
but javascript happens to lack a normal wait function, so that ends up bieng very difficult. I’ll try to reorder the code logically though.
Right now it’s behaving pretty strangely for me… (view post) |

updated it to log that stuff, among other things. Tweaked some other stuff too, though it’s not working much better yet.
EDIT: actually, since it text searches the choices to figue out which one to “click”, i don’t think that’s where the problem lies (view post) |

I think it should just be that the minimum bet is level scaled, so you have to bet like ~10% of your flezz to get antifreeze. The problem is more that 10,000 becomes relatively insignificant at higher levels. (view post) |

it’s waiting, but i think there is a bug in how it waits, though i haven’t figured it out yet. Also, it would be impossible to really do it too fast, since the method the script uses is to trick the browser into thinking you have actually clicked the links, and you can’t click something that’s not there. But the whole “command is null” thing seems to indicate that. If anyone has any idea what the heck that error is, that would be really helpful, since i don’t even really know where the error is occuring properly. (view post) |

blackjack-o-maticread the updated main post. unedited, the script plays to a max of FIVE wins, not the full 20 for antifreeze. Though due to not working it usually doesn’t get there. and it’s just betting 1 flezz too so it’s safe to try. I will not ever change it, since it is my opinion that if you can’t change the values yourself (they are not that hard to find), then you don’t deserve to benefit from it.
Hopefully i can release an updated version that at least plays correctly soon. (view post) |

blackjack-o-maticI should note that due to investigating the random hang problem, i havent really looked that hard to see if it is playing how it’s supposed to. But at least i may be able to fix that more readily than the hang. So i’ll see what I can do.
Once it’s installed, just go talk to gamblebot. if it’s working, the script should take over from there. (view post) |

blackjack-o-maticwow, those look to be the actual ideal probability tables. I may look into implementing that eventually, but that’s a long way off. That is a LOT of data there @_@
either way, it should play pretty well right now, certainly tolerably i hope (view post) |
